Mike Beckerle

Mike Beckerle, Cheif Technology Officer

Chief Technology Officer
Mike defines the strategic direction for and leads the development of Oco's world-class technologies. He brings 20 years of strong technical leadership in advanced technology with a focus on strategic large-scale information-system deployments and the design, implementation, and operation of scalable software and hardware systems.

Most recently Mike was at IBM where he was an architect for core scalable processing capabilities in the IBM Information Server (formerly Ascential DataStage). He came to IBM when it acquired Ascential Software in 2005, and had come to Ascential in 2001 when it acquired his startup company, Torrent Systems, where he initially created the scalable computing technology that has delivered enduring value to customers from 1995 to today.

Mike became an advocate of the software-as-a-service approach in 1999 when he co-founded a start-up technology company, Fact City, which created an Internet-based information service to enhance the content of high-volume Internet search portals.

Mike has served as co-chair for the Data Format Description Language (DFDL) standard workgroup, and on the ANSI X3J13 standard for the Common Lisp programming language.

Mike earned his Masters in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from M.I.T, and his Bachelors' Degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario. He is a named inventor on eight patents.

 

Anil Chitkara

Anil has overall responsibility for the growth and revenue of Oco's business. His team defines product and market strategy, executes sales and marketing activities, develops and manages alliances and partners, and works closely with the rest of the organization to ensure high customer satisfaction.

He has been working at the intersection of business and technology for nearly twenty years. He has led growth initiatives at technology companies including Parametric Technology Corporation (PMTC) and various portfolio companies of Internet Capital Group (ICGE). At Accenture (ACN), he worked with a variety of product and services companies to use technology to drive growth in new markets, improve margins through revenue and cost initiatives, and increase operational performance. Throughout his career, he has worked to strategically apply technology to drive business objectives.

Anil has a Masters in Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University.

 

William Copacino

Bill Copacino, President and CEOPresident & Chief Executive Officer
Bill has built strong management teams throughout his career. He is recognized as a leader in the areas of business process management and supply chain management.

Previously, Bill was Group Chief Executive for Global Business Consulting at Accenture, responsible for the consulting practices in the areas of Financial Performance Management and Business Intelligence, Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Development and Human Resources consulting, and Business Strategy.

In his career Bill also served as the Chief Administrative Officer of C&S Wholesale Grocers, a $20 billion food distributor and the eighth largest privately held company in the U.S., as well as Vice President and Managing Director of Arthur D Little and positions at General Electric.

Bill received a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering and operations research from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School.

 

Steve Morandi

Steve Morandi

Steve is currently the Vice President of Solutions for Oco, Inc the leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider of business intelligence (BI) and data integration solutions. Steve has more than 25 years of experience in senior-level positions for manufacturing and high technology companies. During his 17 year career at General Electric, he held senior-level positions including various operations and supply-chain leadership roles, director of worldwide customer support at Aircraft Engines and Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Additionally he was a partner of ServiceEdge Consulting, where he led new business development, new services offering design & deployment and client relationship initiatives for the capital equipment industry. Prior to ServiceEdge Consulting, he was vice president of Enterprise Collaboration Solutions for Parametric Technology Corporation.

Steve received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University and an MBA from Boston University. He is a member of the Aberdeen Group Strategic Service Management Advisory Council, Association For Services Management International (AFSM International), and recently, served on the IBM Almaden Research Roundtable on Service Performance Measurement.

 

Joseph Schramm

Joseph SchrammWith over 8 years Business Intelligence related experience, Joe Schramm joined Oco, Inc. as Vice President of Business Development in 2007.  Prior to coming to Oco, he was Director of Global Alliance Sales at SAP Business Objects where he led a team to help expand indirect sales in North America.  During his 4+ year tenure there he also supported their strategic alliance with SAP to bring enhanced reporting and analytics capabilities to SAP customers. Joe also spent part of his career at SAP where he was involved in the early field sales rollout of the Business Information Warehouse (BW).

Joe received a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from Byrant University in Smithfield, RI.

Residing on the South Shore of Massachusetts, he spends his free time cooking, tasting wine, hiking and traveling with his wife and 4 children (the children can only smell the wine!). In addition to blogging about Business Intelligence, Joe would be happy to talk about all things food & wine.
